Royalty Rules
The following is in regards to the 2008 National Royalty.
Recompeting:
National Grand Supremes and Mini-Supremes may not compete in any 2009 Preliminary Pageants or the 2009 National Finals in the same venue in which they won their title. For example, Country Cuties mini-Supremes may not compete in any pageant in the Country Cuties division. However, all royalty may compete in the opposite category as the title they hold. If you won a glitz grand supreme title you may compete in any CC&BB pageant in 2009 only if you are competing in the natural category and vice versa. Overalls and Age Division Supremes are welcome to compete. This only applies to CC&BB pageants, all royalty are encouraged to participate in other pageants as they choose.
Hostessing Royalty:
All Grand Supreme, Mini-supreme, Overalls and Age Division Supreme winners are eligible and encouraged to attend all CC&BB Preliminary pageants as hostessing royalty. Hostessing responsibilities include but are not limited to: Helping contestants line up before each event, leading contestants on stage for group line up and helping with the crowning ceremony. All hostessing royalty are required to wear their national crown and sash and are expected to represent CC&BB in a professional manner. Royalty will not be involved in judging, tabulating or preparing score sheets.
Benefits of being a hostess:
Any national winner who chooses to represent their title as a hostess at a CC&BB pageant will have the opportunity to win a $50 Visa gift card at every pageant. We will be awarding two $50 Visa Gift cards at each preliminary pageant. There are two ways to win. The first way is by referring contestants who have not previously entered a CC&BB pageant or photo contest. For every contestant who uses you as a referral, you will receive one raffle ticket to win a $50 visa gift card. The second way to win is by attending a CC&BB pageant and representing your title as a national hostess. There will be two different raffles, one for referrals and one for hostessing. The same person can win both prizes!
